The problem
A marketplace's hardest decisions are made before it has users: how the data is shaped, what the system does when two sides of the market disagree, and which choices will be expensive to reverse once real money moves through it.
What I did
Set the foundation: the system architecture and the database design the product was built on, made as the studio's CTO years before the current AI wave — decisions the platform has been running on since.

Data model first
The database design is the part a platform cannot casually change later, so it was the part that got decided carefully first.
Built to be handed over
Studio work is handed to the team that carries it on, so the value is in an architecture someone else can keep building on — which is what happened here.
Where it stands
Shogol is live and still built on that foundation. Traffic and transaction figures are not published here; none have been shared for publication.
