Shace — pick the room off the floor plan

Workspace booking built around a 2D plan of the space, so the visitor chooses the actual room instead of a name in a list.

The problem

Booking a desk or a meeting room from a dropdown asks the visitor to buy something they cannot picture: which room, how big, next to what. The question they actually want answered before paying is where in the space they will be sitting.

What I did

Put the floor plan first: the visitor sees the workspace in 2D, selects the room from the plan itself, and books it from there — an interactive flow rather than a form with a room field.

Technical detail

The plan is the interface

Availability is read off the same drawing the visitor is looking at, so choosing and booking are one motion.

Fewer questions before payment

Seeing the room removes the back-and-forth that usually happens over email or the front desk before a booking is confirmed.

Where it stands

The booking flow is live on shace.co. No conversion figures are published here; none have been shared for publication.
